Can you help be a uniform hero???????

Have I got your attention!!!!!!! Boys thought you might appreciate this image and girls you all know we look like that on our hen nights out.

On a more serious note, I watched a documentary the other night which made me think about my childhood. I had a poor upbringing but I was lucky in that I was rich in alot of other ways. However, I lived on an estate which was very poor and some of the kids in my school were bullied because they had holes in their uniform or they were singled out because they were unkept.

If you watch the BBC documentary(please see the link below) you will see the misfortune these children are living in without any help and often being grouped into that aged old argument that they are living on the state and we are already paying for them. I disagree that all situations are the same and this film clearly shows that.

I am asking you all to watch this film not so that you have a crappy miserable weekend - but so that you realise how lucky you are and how these kids need our help. Can you please send this link to as many people and do me the biggest favour ever by doing the following. Whether you have children or not this summer when you go to buy your uniforms can you please pick up an extra shirt, or skirt or jumper and drop them into your school or an under priviledged school. Teachers if you are reading this can you play your part and help distribute the extra uniforms to the kids that need them.

I am dropping this thought into the interweb ocean and hoping that you will all play your part. Thank you for tuning in as always. Here's keeping my fingers and thumbs crossed.

Love Stan xxxx

Find out why a group of children who live below the poverty line struggle to believe they'll ever make anything of their lives - and how director Jezza Neumann, got them to open up in BBC One documentary Poor Kids.
